The Vanderbilt Commodores (9-19, 0-15) were blown out by the Florida Gators (17-11, 9-6) at home, 71-55.
Vandy never seemed to be able to get its footing against the Gators. At less than ten minutes into the game, the Commodores already found themselves losing 20-8.
The Gators led the 'Dores throughout the rest of the first half and didn't allow them to break within single digits.
Vandy entered halftime down 41-29.
The second half sailed similarly to the first for the Gators, who were able to cruise to a 16 point victory–without allowing Vandy to make it close at any point.
With this loss, Vandy remains winless in the SEC and heads into a three-game SEC stretch.
