True college football sickos like us have been yearning for a fully immersive experience on Saturdays as NFL fans get on Sundays. Underdog Fantasy stepped up for the 2024 season, offering daily fantasy players several options. Let's take a look at what we know about Underdog Daily College Fantasy Football for 2024.

Underdog Fantasy to Allow College Fantasy Football

Betting on college football prop bets is a hit-or-miss proposition, but fantasy apps like Underdog have had more offerings in recent years than some of the top sportsbooks. Of course, each state has its own standards for betting on collegiate players with props, and the same goes for fantasy contests.

On Monday, College Fantasy expert Mike Bainbridge discovered several daily fantasy contest options. The first is that only Power 4 Conference athletes will be featured in contests, so smaller-school playmakers won't be available for lineups. This is disappointing because a full array of collegiate stars makes things more fun but also better than zero options at all.

It's possible this decision was to help draw more engagement from fans entering the fantasy sports market. The big names across the collegiate landscape generally don't play outside of the Big Ten, SEC, Big 12, and ACC.

College Fantasy Football Bestball at Underdog

We certainly expect bestball contests to be available at Underdog for Power 4 players. Going under the "Lobby" tab in the Underdog app shows CFB as a category. It was previously greyed out but is now selectable. We'll see if more contest types are coming or if you can select higher or lower for player props.

Again, even the minimum is at least some sort of foundation for users to get involved in. We'll have more content as this evolves, and will provide weekly betting and fantasy outlooks throughout the 2024 college football season.
