Ole Miss has been on quite the tear in recruiting landing four four-stars in the last 10 days. However, the Rebels aren't cooling down any time soon and have just received excellent news from another major target.
Ladarian Clardy, a four-star safety out of Pensacola, Fla., released his top 10 list on Saturday afternoon. Ole Miss cracked the list along with Colorado, Michigan, Georgia, Miami, Mississippi State, Washington, UCF, Florida State and Florida.
Florida State is thought to be the current leader in the clubhouse with Ole Miss hot on its trails. According to On3's Industry Rankings, Clardy checks in as the nation's No. 18 safety prospect and the 29th-ranked player in the state of Florida.
On the same day Clardy revealed his finalists, Ole Miss picked up another commitment from a 2025 safety and four-star prospect Major Preston, who also plays high school football in The Sunshine State.
It's clear that defensive coordinator and recruiting giant Pete Golding's time spent in Florida is paying off in a major way. Ole Miss currently lays claim to the nation's No. 26 recruiting class for the 2025 cycle per On3, but will have an opportunity to climb even higher over the next couple of weeks.
