When college programs get a big commitment, they often gain another recruiter for the program.

For Ohio State, that has often happened over the years and is again this cycle. Five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord has his eyes set on a pair of recruits that he wants to end up in Columbus.

According to Mick Walker of Lettermen Row, Offord is on the trail to help the Buckeyes land four-star EDGE Zion Grady and defensive tackle Malik Autry.

"I'm gonna go get them, I'm gonna get them. I'm gonna be building relationships with them,” Offord said to Walker.

Immediately, the biggest one is Autry, who is already a verbal commitment to Auburn. According to 247 Sports Composite, Autry is the No. 180 player in the entire 2025 class out of Opelika, Alabama. Autry has been committed to Auburn since February of 2023, which would make it a long time for the Tigers to hold onto a verbal commitment.

Autry is set to officially visit Ohio State on June 21. The Buckeyes offered him back on May 5 and he has visits lined up with USC, Florida, and UCF. The Buckeyes don’t have a pure defensive tackle in the 2025 class. London Merritt is a potential 3-technique, but the Buckeyes may use him as a power end as well.

Grady is an Alabama lean according to most recruiting experts, as the Crimson Tide are in pursuit of the No. 66 overall player in the country. Grady plays in Enterprise, Alabama, so he is right in the backyard for the Tide. The four-star pass rusher is set to be in Columbus on June 21.

Four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis is the only pass rusher that the Buckeyes have committed so far in the class.

If Offord can help the Buckeyes land either player, it would be a big win for Ohio State. The visits in June will be huge in the Buckeyes making that happen.
