Ohio State has been a blazing fire on the recruiting trail and it appears that there is no vision of the fire going out anytime soon.

The Buckeyes are now projected to land 2025 RB Jordon Davison, their top running back target for the class.

If the Buckeyes can indeed land a commitment from Davison, they will win his recruitment over the likes of Texas, Alabama, and Michigan. Davison recently visited Ohio State this past weekend and was one of many recruits in Columbus on Student Appreciation Day.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Davison is the No. 7 running back in the country and the No. 83 overall recruit. Coming from Mater Dei in California, Davison is a 5-foot-11, 203-pound running back who holds 50 offers.

Ohio State has 11 commitments so far for the 2025 class and just two on the offensive side of the football. Gaining a pledge from Davison could jumpstart things for the offensive recruiting for the nation’s No. 2 ranked class.

Ohio State has landed four commitments within the last four days and it appears that more could be on the horizon after a successful weekend.
