Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has a house in Oxford, but he lives rent free in the minds of Tennessee fans.
Kiffin is appreciated across the college football world for his sense of humor. On Friday, Kiffin made a light-hearted joke at his former employer revolving around the NCAA's recent decision to allow corporate sponsor logos on college football playing fields around the country.
Kiffin, known for his creativity, made a hilarious suggestion for Tennessee's midfield sponsor for the upcoming football season. It was none other than French's Mustard.
The Rebels head coach won't let Tennessee fans forget about the incident at Neyland Stadium following an Ole Miss win back in 2021. Unruly Volunteer fans threw countless drinks in Kiffin's direction along with a golf ball and the infamous bottle of French's Mustard.
Vols fans haven't completely forgiven Kiffin for his sudden departure following his lone season as Tennessee's head coach in 2009. Kiffin left for greener pastures accepting a job as head coach at USC following a 7-6 season with Tennessee, but the buzz around Tennessee's program had certainly gained plenty of steam during his brief tenure in Knoxville.
Kiffin loves flexing on Tennessee as demonstrated in signing plenty of golf balls and mustard bottles since his team's victory in Knoxville three years ago.
He even threw out the first pitch in a college baseball matchup between Ole Miss and Tennessee opting to hurl a golf ball towards home plate.
