Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin have ramped up their recruiting efforts over the last two weeks as the Rebels look to build an elite 2025 class.

Four-star wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr. included Ole Miss on his final seven list back in March. Hilton's name might sound familiar to NFL fans and that's because his father is former Indianapolis Colts star wideout TY Hilton who was a four-time Pro Bowler during his career which ended in 2022.

Hilton is ranked as 247Sports’ No. 395 player in the class of 2025, No. 63 wide receiver and No. 7 recruit from his home state of Indiana.

The other schools that made the cut are Wisconsin, which appears to be the frontrunner, Georgia, which is believed to be hot on the Badgers' tail, Purdue, Kansas, Missouri and Miami. Hilton announced via his X profile that he will be announcing his commitment on Friday, June 14 at 5pm EST.

Hilton's primary recruiter at Ole Miss is Derrick Nix who served as the Rebels' associate head coach in 2023. Though Ole Miss is considered to be a dark horse in the Hilton sweepstakes, Kiffin has been known to pull a few stunners since arriving to Oxford.

Hilton would boost the Rebels' 2025 recruiting class which is currently ranked No. 15 in the country, per On3.com.
