  • Tick Slow to See It: Doesn’t anticipate route patterns that are prevalent against their coverage concepts
  • Not Elite Range: Not a hash to hash player, struggles to get off his landmark
  • Transitions: Step late out of his break or pedal
  • Launch Angles: Appreciate the fearlessness but doesn’t always play with proper fundamentals

Evaluation:

Potentially the top safety in the class, Nubin looked a tick slower in his 2023 campaign compared to his 2022 season, which could cause him to fall some in the draft. But with obvious traits that include hit power and coverage viability in the box, he can be contributor in the NFL.
