Georgia football is well-known for the amount of talent it puts into the NFL Draft year in and year out, and 2025 is expected to be no different.

The Bulldogs once again come back loaded on both sides of the ball for the 2024 season, with quarterback Carson Beck serving as the headliner. But he's not the only Bulldog who could be taken off the board in the early first round.

When Dane Brugler of The Athletic released his latest mock draft, he had Bulldogs defensive lineman Mykel Williams listed as the No. 1 overall pick, held by the Carolina Panthers.

"At this time last year, it was easy to put together the top of my mock, with stars like Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison Jr.," Brugler wrote.

"But the 2025 draft class doesn’t have that type of established star power, leaving the No. 1 pick wide-open. A toolsy prospect, Williams’ 2023 tape doesn’t show consistency, but there are high highs, including what he did in the bowl game against Florida State."

Georgia has had 13 players selected in the first round since 2020, and whether or not Williams is in line to be the next will be something to watch around this time next year.
