Florida State Seminoles position coach is already pulling out all of the stops at fall camp to help prepare for Bama

Another two win season in Tallahassee just won’t cut it. With a program like Florida State, with the history the Seminoles have, one two win season was more than enough. Mike Norvell and his staff know that they need to ace fall camp to prep for a big 2025 season.
FSU had its worst season since the 70s last season, and it was just a weird one overall. So many things went wrong, just when you kept thinking it couldn’t get any worse. The Noles were one of the worst teams in the entire country, and I’m not sure words like that have been uttered in recent years.
Luckily for FSU when it comes to their 2025 season — 2024 is over and behind them, and this team is almost a completely different team. 13 of the 22 starters are predicted to be transfer portal additions, which means that the starting unit we could possibly see in Week 1 could look completely different than the starting unit that started the 2024 season.
So, this team doesn’t have to carry the burden of that two win season. But, they do have to know that it won’t come easy. This team won’t just magically become a good team. They have to work for it, especially when you consider that they play Alabama in Week 1, and that game will be super important to the future of this program.
So, the coaching staff is pulling out all of the stops for this one in fall camp.
Florida State position coach isn’t holding back
“What time was the first game? Same f— weather! Same f— weather! You can’t be tired,” defensive line coach and former NFL player Terrance Knighton yelled on Day 1 of fall camp for the Seminoles.
Yes, Day 1, and if you watched the video, you can tell that this group of players and coaches are not playing around this year. They want to beat Bama, and they believe they will beat Bama, because they also know that last year was last year, and this is not the same team.
There are going to be some people who, going into Week 1, expect Bama to blow out FSU, because they don’t know all of the changes that the Seminoles made this offseason. And, I bet if you asked head coach Mike Norvell, that’s fine — let people keep doubting them. We’ve already heard some of the players be surprised with how the offense looks — that it looks extremely good.
Fall camp has just started, and the Noles are already getting after it
