Ohio State fans will undoubtedly want to be tuned into the big news around the Michigan Wolverines that is set to break on Friday
News that could potentially shake up the internet is coming on Friday.
At last, a decision is about to be made.
It was expected that a ruling on the infractions against the Michigan Wolverines would come before the college football season started — and we’re just about at that point. Friday is going to be an interesting time to be on the internet.
Ohio State fans will surely be online Friday when Michigan’s punishment is announced in the infractions case
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the NCAA has formally notified all parties involved in the Michigan infractions case that findings and punishments will be announced on Friday. Multiple reports suggest the news could drop by noon.
Michigan faces six Level I allegations tied to the Connor Stallions sign-stealing scandal. In total, there are 11 allegations against the Wolverines football program. There is also a recruiting violation tied into this as well.
As we know, Michigan won the national championship two seasons ago, after which Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL. Since then, Sherrone Moore has served as the Wolverines’ head coach. Some believe Harbaugh could face a show-cause penalty if he ever decided to return to college football.
The rivalry is deep, and Michigan has won the last four matchups. You can bet plenty of Ohio State fans will be glued to Friday’s updates surrounding the sign-stealing scheme. Just like Michigan fans were well over a decade ago when Ohio State received punishment from the tattoo situation.
