TCU trolls University of North Carolina in brutal but hilarious way after Bill Belichick’s disastrous college debut
They chose violence.
The stars were out for Bill Belichick’s college football debut on Monday night. But the game didn’t go the way that the former New England Patriots head coach wanted, with TCU dominating the University of North Carolina in the season opener.
However, the 48-14 win wasn’t enough for TCU. They also had to take things one step further.
In August, it was announced that UNC would be the focus of a Hulu show, detailing Belichick’s first season with the Tar Heels. Specifically, UNC’s football account posted the news on social media.
However, TCU decide to bring that back, quote tweeting the post with a caption, trolling the Tar Heels over this bad defeat.
“When does episode one come out,” TCU Football wrote.
The game started well for Belichick as UNC kicked things off with an impressive opening drive, going 83 yards down the field for a touchdown. However, afterwards, TCU went on to score 41 unanswered points.
Everyone always talks about their “welcome to the NFL” moment, but for Belichick, it was clear that Monday night was his “welcome to college football” moment. And TCU will certainly not let him forget it.
