Everyone is talking about Arch Manning and his struggles last weekend. And for good reason. At times, he looked rattled and confused. A lot of credit goes to Ohio State and the plan from defensive coordinator Matt Patricia. But, I thought Manning finally showed some signs of being a young, first-time starter. And that’s okay. He can correct it this weekend and in the next two weeks before traveling to Florida.
Pete Kwiatkowski’s defense was outstanding in the opener and will look to build on it. Liona Lefau led the way with nine total tackles and transfer defensive lineman Cole Brevard drew rave reviews. Freshman cornerback Graceson Littleton was great as well.
