The first injury report for the Florida Gators heading into their Week 7 matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies is out, and it’s 13 players deep.

We’ve known about the majority of the players listed as out, but there is one addition that is somewhat of a surprise.

Aidan Mizell questionable, Duke Clark and Ja’Kobi Jackson out

The depth on the offensive side of the football is going to be tested in a major way. The running back position is in the worst shape right now, as RB2 and RB3 are both listed as out. Clark played well against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday afternoon as the backup to Jadan Baugh, rushing for 38 yards on nine carries. Not having either him or Jackson leaves redshirt freshman KD Daniels and redshirt sophomore Anthony Rubio, the son of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Mizell started the game against the Longhorns and has been a valuable member of the receiver room. He’s got the juice to take the top off the defense and can get yards after the catch in the screen game. Not having him on the outside would be a negative impact

Those are the big new additions to the report, and not having Jackson for a second consecutive game is a tough one. The good news is that defensive tackle Michai Boireau is off the report, and there aren’t any major contributors from the defensive line other than Banks and McCray, who are both nursing foot injuries.

We will get updates on the injury report over the next two days, where hopefully we will see improvements with the seven questionable players.
