The Indianapolis Colts are putting their league-best 7-1 record on the line in Week 9 when they travel to Pennsylvania to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be a battle between two of the top AFC teams in the league, who would both be in the playoffs if they began today. This may not be the old-school Peyton Manning vs. Ben Roethlisberger, but Daniel Jones vs. Aaron Rodgers could be an iconic battle.

This week’s game is being treated like one of the best games of the week. While it’s not a national broadcast game, most countries have been assigned this matchup for the early slate. So, let’s check if you will be able to watch the game where you live with this week’s broadcast map and other facts about the broadcast.

Colts vs. Steelers will be a battle of two struggling pass defenses

The Colts and Steelers have seen significant improvements on the offensive side of the ball, thanks in part to their new quarterbacks, Daniel Jones and Aaron Rodgers. With the state of both of these teams’ pass defenses, the play of the QBs could ultimately decide the winner of this game.

The Steelers have allowed a season-high in pass yards to the last four QBs they have gone up against. The Colts have the fifth-best passing offense in the NFL and should be able to attack this evident weakness in the Steelers’ defense. A problem, though, is that the Colts’ injured secondary has struggled tremendously in recent weeks. The team has allowed the third most passing yards in the NFL this season, but it is fair to assume their numerous blowout wins also play a factor in that stat.
