Texas A&M Aggies’ embarrassing state trooper gets what he deserves after ridiculous behavior during South Carolina game
Texas state trooper who shoved two South Carolina players relieved of his game day duties by Texas A&M
The Texas A&M Aggies pulled off a miraculous 27-point comeback win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday, but the most viral moment from that epic game didn’t even happen on the field.
South Carolina had just gone up 26-3 late in the first half on an explosive touchdown play from wide receiver Nyck Harbor, and apparently, a Texas state trooper wasn’t too happy about it. The trooper followed Harbor, who had jogged up the corner tunnel after the score, intentionally bumped into him and a Gamecocks teammate, then pointed and yelled embarrassingly at them.

South Carolina went on to score a quick three more points before halftime, extending its lead to 30-3 heading into the halfway point of the game. Fortunately, Texas A&M put together a comeback for the ages, winning 31-30, further solidifying the Aggies as one of the best teams in the country and perhaps a national title contender.
Although the state trooper’s actions were somewhat of a tipping point in the game for the Aggies, Texas A&M officials made sure to let everyone know that he got what he deserved. Multiple sources reported immediately following the game that the embarrassing, raging lunatic of a state trooper had been relieved of his game-day duties.
In case you missed the play in live action, this post below captures the full event as it unfolded. The state trooper was nowhere to be seen initially as Harbor jogged up the tunnel ramp following his touchdown. It actually looked like Harbor was using the slight hill in the tunnel to help him slow down, as he might have tweaked his hamstring on the play.
The state trooper had to walk several yards out of his way, up the tunnel ramp, and then widen his arms somewhat violently to incite the contact with the South Carolina players. Then, he had the audacity to act as if he were the one wronged — just embarrassing, childish behavior from the state trooper.
It’s unclear if this dismissal from the game will be a permanent situation, but it ought to be. There’s no place for this kind of behavior on a football field. And it’s a bit unnerving knowing that this kind of unstable person is allowed to wear a badge. If he’s committing that kind of behavior when he knows he could be on national television, what is he doing to people behind closed doors? Just embarrassing and alarming behavior. Thank you, Texas A&M, for taking out the trash.
