The Georgia Bulldogs made one of the biggest recruiting splashes of the year when they landed a commitment from 2027 five-star tight end Jaxon Dollar.

Dollar, 6-foot-5/222 pounds from Denver, NC, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 2 tight end in the nation and the No. 32 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class.

The North Carolina native committed to Georgia over Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, and Texas, among others.

National recruiting analyst drops strong quote on Jaxon Dollar

247Sports national recruiting analyst Tom Loy watched Dollar compete at The Opening Dallas regional this past weekend and came away even more impressed than he already was.

Loy is impressed by Dollar both on and off the field.

“I cannot say enough good things about Denver (NC) East Lincoln Top100 tight end Jaxon Dollar,” said Loy. “Off the field, he is about as impressive as you’ll find, and on the field, he might just be the best tight end in America. He is freakishly athletic, is an elite playmaker, and is going to be a star at Georgia.”

Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are certainly no stranger to elite tight ends, and it looks like they’ve got another one on the way to Athens in Jaxon Dollar.
