The Florida Gators are 4-0 going into their third SEC matchup against the Missouri Tigers. Their last matchup was in 2023, where the Gators lost 33-31 in Columbia. That game was a tight one, and the second consecutive loss in Missouri. They also lost in 2021 in overtime 24-23.

When breaking down this matchup, there are some fascinating elements at play. The Gators come into this matchup with one of the more explosive offenses in the nation. They are in the 97th percentile in explosive play rate, while being in the 96th percentile in non-explosive EPA/play. It all boils down to Buster Faulkner’s excellent play calling. They have a very explosive offense with a lot of concepts that are very simple, but loaded with window dressing.

On the other side, the Tigers are coming off of a tough loss to Mississippi State and star quarterback Kamario Taylor, but they have a talented player in their own right in Austin Simmons. He’s playing the game at a very high level, hitting tight window NFL throws on every level. The biggest key could be not having running back Ahmad Hardy, who is still recovering from an injury suffered this offseason.

This is a game that you won’t want to miss, and here’s how you can watch it.
