2028 quarterback recruits are quickly filling up spots, which means we could be getting close to a decision from three-star quarterback Knox Kiffin, the son of LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin.

Knox, 6-foot-2/180 pounds, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 65 quarterback in the nation and the No. 23 overall player in the state of Louisiana in the 2028 recruiting class.

According to Rivals.com’s Sam Spiegelman, Missouri is the program currently setting the pace in Knox’s recruitment.

Knox, who said last year that he’s “definitely not” playing for his dad, recently took a visit to Columbia for Missouri’s win over Florida.

“Missouri has been setting the pace in the recruitment of coveted Baton Rouge (La.) University QB Knox Kiffin. … I believe the Tigers are in a fantastic spot with the dynamic 2028 passer,” wrote Spiegelman this week.

“I had a great time,” said Knox to Rivals of his visit to Missouri. “The highlights were how well the offense played and was clicking. The atmosphere was great — and it was a big-time game. Being around the staff was great — to meet some of the coaches in person and talk to them. It was great being there and would definitely love to come back.”

2028 quarterbacks are committing left and right, and there are only so many spots available.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Knox commit to Missouri sooner rather than later. Otherwise, he could be left without a chair when the music stops.
