Big time LSU target dropped a telling quote after visiting Baton Rouge for game against Clemson
Probably the LSU Tigers’ biggest recruiting target and a must get player.
The LSU Tigers had a very important visitor in the house on Saturday night.
2027 five-star wide receiver Easton Royal, a Texas commit, visited LSU for the big win against Clemson.
Royal, 5-foot-11/200 pounds from New Orleans, LA, has been a longtime flip target for LSU.
And it sounds like he’s getting closer to a final decision.
Fortunately for LSU, it sounds like things are trending in the Tigers’ favor.
Easton Royal loved the vibes at Tiger Stadium for Lane Kiffin’s debut
Royal spoke with Rivals about his visit, and he noted that he’s never seen Death Valley “that loud.”
“It was everything — and more than what I expected,” said Royal. “You know, obviously, all season, all of the hype Coach Kiffin has and all the media stuff he’s been in … It was definitely what I expected and more. I’ve never seen Death Valley that loud. It was a different experience.”
Royal added that he feels like “it makes it mean more” to play in state, which seemingly bodes well for LSU’s chances in this battle.
The five-star recruit said he could make a final decision in the next few weeks, though the decision could also stretch all the way to the early signing period in December.
Either way, it’s starting to feel even more likely that LSU is ultimately going to be the choice for Royal.
