The Ohio State Buckeyes just went through a heavyweight fight against the Indiana Hoosiers in Week 7 of the college football season. Ohio State picked up its biggest win of the season, 19-15, to take care of No. 5 Indiana on the road.

Ohio State came away from the top-5 battle with plenty to sort through, and several Buckeyes stood out for good and bad reasons.

Here’s the latest stock up, stock down report for Ohio State football following the matchup with Indiana. We’ll start with the winners.

Winner: WR Chris Henry Jr.

Ohio State needed a second receiver to step up alongside Jeremiah Smith, and the true freshman delivered. Henry finished with two catches for 51 yards. Both were big first-half plays for the Buckeyes. He showed up against a big-time opponent and made it clear he needs to be on the field more.

Winner: CB Jay Timmons

Timmons looked like Ohio State’s best defender in this game. He finished with seven tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup, and he was all over the field. Having him back healthy is a huge deal for the Ohio State defense.

Winner: WR Jeremiah Smith

Smith hauled in a 38-yard touchdown on fourth down against the Hoosiers. That play ended up being one of the most crucial of the game, and the Buckeyes don’t win without it. He finished with just four catches for 68 yards. Still, Smith was Ohio State’s best receiver.

His impact went beyond the box score, too. Another Ohio State touchdown came after Smith drew four Indiana defenders, which opened up a short pass to Bo Jackson.

Winner: RB Isaiah West

West stepped up as Ohio State’s second running back. The Buckeyes didn’t give him a big workload, but he made the most of it with 45 rushing yards on six attempts. Don’t sleep on West making his presence felt even more as the season goes on.

Winner: TE Mason Williams

Williams caught the first two passes of the game and finished with 45 yards. That’s a huge game from the tight end spot at Ohio State. The Buckeyes need to keep getting the position involved, and Williams gave them a reason to do it.

Loser: QB Julian Sayin

It was a rough day for Sayin. The Ohio State quarterback completed 15-of-29 passes for 235 yards with two touchdown passes and two interceptions. It was his worst game in an Ohio State uniform.

The bigger concern came in the fourth quarter. Sayin had to exit the game, and Luke Fahey came in to take over. Sayin was then seen in a sling after the game.

Ohio State needed its quarterback most in a game of this magnitude, and it was a tough outing for Sayin. How Sayin’s arm holds up will shape a lot of what comes next for the Buckeyes’ offense.

Loser: Devin Sanchez

Indiana’s top wideout Charlie Becker went off for 165 receiving yards against Ohio State and much of that damage came against Sanchez. Ohio State needs Sanchez to be a lockdown cornerback they can put on an island and he just hasn’t been that this season.
