The Ohio State Buckeyes have the majority of their work done in the class of 2027, and much of the focus has already turned to 2028, where Ohio State holds a top-ranked class with multiple 5-star commitments. 

Wide receiver recruiting will continue to be a point of emphasis for the program without Brian Hartline, who is no longer with the staff. Ohio State’s first full cycle under wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton produced a big win in 2027 by keeping 5-star recruit Jamier Brown in the fold, and Hankton is already off to a great start in 2028 with 5-star wide receiver Jett Harrison committed to play for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State wide receiver recruiting in the class of 2028 is already off to a strong start, and another top target could be next in line. 

The Buckeyes are set to host 4-star wide receiver Zyon Robinson from Powder Springs, Georgia, for a game visit during the season as Ohio State continues to build one of the nation’s best recruiting classes.

Ohio State is interested in adding more top-end talent at the position in the 2028 class, and Robinson is one of those targets on the board.

Zyon Robinson set for Week 4 visit to Columbus

According to Lettermen Row’s Mick Walker, Robinson will visit Ohio State for their Week 4 game and Big Ten opener against Illinois. That game could be the one where Robinson secures his Ohio State offer. The Buckeyes got him on campus back in the spring, and a return trip for a game visit is a positive development.

The 6-foot, 185-pound receiver holds offers from Florida, Miami, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Indiana, Florida State, and Missouri. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Robinson is the 138th-ranked player nationally and the No. 19 wide receiver in the class of 2028.

This is another key visitor for Ohio State this season and a player the Buckeyes could potentially turn the heat up on and look to get into the class.
