Rocket Sanders began his football career at Rockledge High School in Florida, playing multiple positions, including running back, wide receiver, and linebacker.
Excelling as a versatile athlete, he committed to the University of Arkansas in 2021, joining their football team as a running back. Sanders made an immediate impact in his freshman season, rushing for 578 yards and five touchdowns.
In his sophomore year (2022), Sanders had a breakout season with 1,443 rushing yards, earning First-Team All-SEC honors.
