Wake Forest College Football Playoff rooting guide for Week 9
Wake Forest could use some help in order to make their resume look stronger and to also clear the path in front of them (and to help with seeding).
Wake Forest fans need to root for these outcomes in Week 9:
- Arizona to beat Texas Tech (This would make Arizona a problem for Wake Forest, but it’ll get higher-ranked Texas Tech out of the way)
- Navy to beat Notre Dame
- SMU to beat Syracuse (Wake Forest needs to beat SMU in November, this would make that win look better for the Deacons)
- Auburn to beat Ole Miss (This would give Ole Miss three losses)
- Arizona State to beat BYU
- Georgia to beat Florida (This would give the Gators three losses)
- Oregon to beat Northwestern (This would give Northwestern a second loss…Oregon already has three losses)
- Nevada to beat UCLA (The Bruins are still undefeated)
- Miami to beat North Carolina (Helps Wake Forest’s loss to Miami look better)
- Mississippi State to beat Texas (That would give the Longhorns a third loss)
- Arkansas to beat Missouri (That would give Mizzou a third loss)
- Purdue to beat Penn State (Makes Wake Forest’s win over Purdue look better)
