Not a great look for the Gators cornerback, who is likely going to be a starter on the outside in Ron Roberts' defense.
Dijon Johnson might have charges dropped
The news of Johnson's arrest came as somewhat of a surprise. After the news broke, 247 Sports' Graham Hall started asking questions and found that things might not be as they appeared.
Hall reported that the firearm isn't Johnsons, nor did he know that it was in the car. Furthermore, the controlled substance might be creatine, which could cause at least one charge to be dropped.
Those details could end up proving to be a big deal when it's all said and done. We don't know for sure how it's going to shape up, but it's instances like this why universities wait until they get all the information before making anyu kind of decision.
The arrest of Johnson is an evolving story that we will continue to update as we get more information.
