Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has found a new home.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Smith is expected to join the Pittsburgh Steelers as their offensive coordinator.

Smith was hired as Atlanta's head coach in 2021.

The Falcons went 7-10 every season and failed to make the playoffs under Smith.

He was relieved of his duties following the team's Week 18 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Prior to Atlanta, Smith was the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator for two seasons where he was notorious for coaching one of the NFL's top rushing units, thanks to running back Derrick Henry. In 2019, the Titans finished ranked third with rushing 2,223 yards. In Smith's final year in Tennessee, they finished second in the NFL with rushing 2,690 yards.

Now, Smith takes the place of Matt Canada and will be tasked with cleaning up a struggling Pittsburgh offense currently led by Kenny Pickett.
