According to Matt Moscana, Green’s mother posted on Facebook a message that revealed there are no torn ligaments and that surgery is not required on the injury.
Green’s mother confirmed he will miss some games, but this does not sound like a season-ending injury, even when it looked like it could be on Saturday night.
That is significant news for an LSU offense that relies heavily on Green as a pass catcher. Green was the leading receiver for LSU in Saturday’s game against Ole Miss, hauling in four catches for 60 yards.
