Will the Patriots play the starters?

This is still unknown. Bill Belichick was asked about whether starters will be seen in Saturday's game, but said he had yet to talk to the staff about that possibility.

Will Ezekiel Elliott play?

The Patriots signed Ezekiel Elliott earlier this week and he was quick to join the team in Green Bay for joint practices. People got the first look at the new running back in action, but it's clear he is still learning the playbook and terminology. It wouldn't be completely out of the ordinary for Elliott to at least get a few snaps to get comfortable in game-time situations.

3 Players to watch

  • QB Malik Cunningham: The Patriots undrafted rookie has been on everybody's radar after his impressive performance in the first preseason game. While he started the game at receiver, he came in at quarterback towards the end of the game and provided a spark for the offense. So where will the Patriots use him tonight?
  • RB Ezekiel Elliott: It will be interesting to see if the Patriots newest signing will see time on the field during Saturday's preseason game. They have been searching for a veteran running back throughout training camp, and it's clear that Bill Belichick has a lot of respect for Elliott.
  • LB Marte Mapu: While he has been in a non-contact jersey throughout most of training camp, Mapu was back in a regular jersey for the joint practices. He was seen tracking plays throughout the first preseason game, but he might get a chance to show his skills.
