Jon Sumrall’s recruiting heater continues with a third commitment in 24 hours over two bitter rivals
Recruiting with the Florida Gators is on a massive hot streak and it continued with a third commitment in less than 24 hours.
Florida Gators head coach Jon Sumrall was on a massive recruiting heater on Tuesday.
The Gators secured commitments from two four-star recruits: offensive tackle Elijah Hutcheson and safety Kailib Dillard. They rounded off the day by making the top-six of four-star wide receiver Elias Pearl and hosted Missouri State basketball player Michael Osei-Bonsu on a visit.
It didn’t stop on Wednesday morning either, as they landed another commitment from a fascinating player.

Florida Gators secure commitment from DL Stive-Bentley Keumajou Yondui
Even though he now lives in the Sunshine State, the Gators landed a recruit originally from across the pond in three-star defensive lineman Stive-Bentley Keumajou Yondui. They beat out the Auburn Tigers, Texas Longhorns, Miami Hurricanes, and Georgia Bulldogs for his commitment.
He’s a really interesting player. At 6-2.5 and 295 pounds, Keumajou Yondui also plays soccer and basketball, which makes him really interesting from a long-term development perspective. Where he provides the most intrigue is in his movement skills. We just saw Caleb Banks get selected by the Minnesota Vikings at 18th overall due to his elite movement skills at his size, and the Gators have a history of targeting great movers on the interior.
He’s just a three-star right now likely due to coming over from Europe less than a year ago, making him a major upside play. Kendrick is a similar upside play, as his profile certainly looks that of a potential four-star.
Keumajou Yondui is the 13th commitment in the class of 2027.
